Now a days , developing countries are facing many problems related to "Talent Migration". In simple words we can say that brain drain. So developing countries like India, those have limited number of resources and they are investing a big amount to train people for national interest. But after getting trained talented people migrates from one country to other country. Someone can say that people is migrating due to lack of opportunities in developing countries or low living standard or security issues or future aspects.
So that is fine , what they are saying but every coin has two side. Why do they think about lack of opportunities?
Let me illustrate with the help of some facts:
USA had industrial revolution when even India was in hand of British government. Beside of it, India is the 4th largest economy of world.
Recession of 2008 hit the USA market very badly , India was working fine.
Computer came to India in 1985 and now India is the largest software service provider.
In 2012-13, We can say that India has Service economy because India is making 63% GDP from Service, 14% Agriculture and remaining by manufacturing.
Advantages of Migration:
1. It improves GNP of a developing country.
2. Cross cultural development.
3.Tourism industry will grow.
Disadvantages:
1.Investment of a Developing country will be used by Developed country in the form of Trained and skilled people.
2.India has one doctor over 1700 people because every year 1300 people migrates - poor health conditions.
3.R&D suffers from Talent due to brain drain.
4.They will go there and file patent there and money of that product will be enjoyed by Job provider country. So developing country has to purchase those product so loss to GDP.
5. Lack of motivation and national interest in new generation and many more.
